Class Descriptions
Solo and Couples 1920s Charleston. These classes will be intermediate in level, which means that they will assume that students either already know or can readily pick up the basic step of 20s Charleston.
Jazz Movement. Learn jazz moves common to the swing era. Many of these moves are found in routines such as the Shim Sham, Trankey Doo, and Big Apple.
Incorporating Jazz Movement into Lindy. Learn ways to incorporate the jazz moves you know into your lindy hop. Assumes students already know the basics of Lindy.
Balboa/Bal-Swing. This class will assume that students already know the basics of Balboa and will work on more advanced moves and techniques.
Lindy Moves. Come learn some fun new lindy moves. Assumes students already know the basics of Lindy.
Collegiate Shag. This fun and fast dance from the early swing era is easy to learn and fun to do. This class will be a beginning level.
The Madison. The Madison is a fun line dance from the 1950s.
